A long stay photographic Safari with time to linger.

Visit the Luangwa - and Zambezi Valleys and enjoy extended stays at each destination.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

After arriving in Lusaka, transfer to a small lodge (Pioneer Camp or The Residence). Dinner in a restaurant. (-/-/-)

Days 2-6: Lower Zambezi National Park

Unhurried, Untamed, Unforgettable

In the morning we set off for the Lower Zambezi National Park – a true highlight of any journey through Zambia. We enter a wildlife‑rich region of exceptional natural beauty: on one side the majestic Zambezi River, on the other the dramatic rise of the escarpment. This striking landscape lends a special atmosphere to our wildlife encounters.
We explore the area on game drives both inside the national park and in the Chiawa Game Management Area. With the entire day at our disposal, there is ample time to observe the animals in a relaxed, unhurried way – the perfect opportunity to capture those unforgettable photographs that stay with us for years to come. Boat trips on the Zambezi are also part of the experience, allowing us to enjoy the peaceful rhythm of this life‑giving river.
Accommodation is in chalets at Kasaka Lodge or Lower Zambezi Lodge, both idyllically situated on the riverbank. (B/L/D on all days).

Days 7-9: South Luangwa Valley

South Luangwa National Park unplugged

In the late morning, we fly into the Luangwa Valley. Our guide will be wa iting for us on arrival, and together we continue to our camp in the southern part of the park.
‘Unplugged’ beautifully sums up the sense of remoteness that defines this quieter corner of the valley. Malama Umoyo Bush Camp is small (a maximum of six guests), rustic yet wonderfully cosy, set in an idyllic location on the banks of the Luangwa River.
Hippos are our constant neighbours, while elephants and waterbuck wander past from time to time. We head out on extensive game drives and explore this remote corner of the famous South Luangwa National Park. The combination of untouched wilderness and intense wildlife encounters makes this stay a truly special experience. (B/L/D on all days)

Days 10-14: Central Luangwa Valley

Authentic safari moments haped by the Luangwa River

This region ranks among the most impressive wildl ife sanctuaries in Africa. Herds of elephants and buffalo move across the plains, while Thornicroft’s giraffes, Cookson’s wildebeest, Crowshay’s zebras and lions complete the picture of an untouched wilderness.
The coming days are dedicated to immersive wildlife viewing. On daily game drives, new insights into animal behaviour unfold — sometimes majestic, sometimes playful, sometimes surprisingly close.
We move slowly and unhurriedly through the African bush, letting the diversity of nature reveal itself and savouring the deep, rare silence between encounters.
Accommodation is in simple yet comfortable safari tents at Barefoot Lodge, idyllically set along the meandering Luangwa River. (B/L/D on all days).
